The question is, how to get your brand new blog noticed? There are two ways which you MUST go through in order to get a decent amount of readers on board. 1. Submit your blog’s URL to as many blog directories and search engines as you can. 2. Share your blog and it’s latest posts regularly with your friends via social networking services.

Of them, submitting your blog’s URL to search engine is so important that you must do it. Search engine results will drive a huge amount of traffic to your blog, if optimized well, on a regular basis. However, if you use a tool that “pings” search engines to index your new contents, it is better. By Pinging, you let search engines know that there are new contents on your blog and they should come and get them.
