This is the second post from the series that I have started to write about some common and uncommon, fun or useful third-party twitter tools that you might want to use. See the first here.

Ever wondered to find out who was the first to be your follower on twitter? Twitter is an insanely incredibly useful social media that you can use to engage with people and every second of their life. This is a nice example of real-time web of the day. From the world’s richest businessmen to celebrity and general people, addict to twitter are everywhere. And to make twitter even more powerful for the end-users, there are a number of third-party tools that lets you do things with your twitter account that is out-of-the-box.

I’ve decided to start a series post where I will write reviews on various twitter tools from outside the twitter that helps you do more with twitter and that is entertaining, important, and often just fun.

So, my first post of the series reviewing twitter tools is about FirstFollower.

You must beware of shortened links, as they maybe harmful for your computer or security. It’s a wise decision to set your Firefox in a mode that lets you see the destination link before you click to visit the site linked as a shortened URL. However, sometimes you just don’t want to restart your Firefox after installing the plugin. For that situation, here’s a great web-based tool that lets you check the destination URL of any shortened URL on the planet.
