I won’t be surprised if a post about Thesis’ new version arrival in my blog surprises you as you know I’ve always said I didn’t like Thesis that much. But hey, I had a strong reason for that. Thesis looked like “for advanced geeks only” type of framework to me and that’s why I chose not to go with Thesis any more. However, the features included in Thesis 1.8, that just hit the market, is in a word amazing. I’m blown away with the features Thesis 1.8 comes with. So, you understand if you’re not yet using Thesis, I don’t feel any bad to advice to start using.

Here’s why I was kind of forced to disable Disqus on my blog. When my inbox was flooded every morning with lots of spam comments being approved and spam comment notifications, I had no other way but to think for alternative. I believe the default theme section is the best alternative to choose. At the same time, as I think I should reward my readers and commentators more, I have enabled CommentLuv plugin. I hope you do know about it, don’t you? :D

In a recent blog post published on WordPress developer blog, the company has stated that WordPress will no longer support PHP 4 and MySQL 4 from its release 3.2, due in the first half of 2011.
