Anyone Need a Google Wave Invitation?

Google's latest buzz is called "Buzz". I'm still wondering if there are people who still uses complex service Google Wave, after the launch of Google Buzz. I'm a big fan of Buzz and am pretty regular at it. Last time I logged in to my Wave account and noticed that I'm given the power of inviting others to Wave account. I don't know if there are people still interested in trying out Google Wave. However, if there are people out there who are still hunting for a Google Wave invitation, request one here.

Twitter Tool: How to Unfollow All

2

Previous tool: How to see who was the first to follow me on twitter?

Sometimes your favorite social tool twitter just gets too much heavy with so many followers. You too become seriously busy when you’ve got a lot of people to followers. Sadly, most of the time you don’t find any interesting tweet to read and reply to. Ever wondered why? This is just because most of your followers are probably not human being. Those characters not more than 140 letters were actually written by an automatic bot. You aren’t a bot, so you will not find any interest on it.

You maybe are thinking how you are following bots. Any of the following may have caused you following a lot of bots:

  • Auto-Follow: Your profile, by a third-party tool, is set to automatically follow those who follow you. Bots find out your profile address or twitter username crawling through blogs and websites. Once they find it, they readily start following you causing you follow them back, because the developers know that most people use auto-follow tool these days. From my experience, it is not recommended.
  • Mass Follow: Maybe you manually follow all of those who follow you. This isn’t recommended as well. Before you start following someone, you should go check out their earlier tweets to draw an image of the nature of that tweeter. By then, you will figure out if it’s a bot or not.

It’s very natural that you will lose your interest on twitter after you come to know that the majority of who you follow are not human beings. But there’s a tool to help you in that moment. The tool comes to help you start over. Because sometimes you just need to start over.

UnfollowUnfollow All is a free tool that will take its time to unfollow everyone you follow. All you need to do is to head over to UnfollowAll.com, think again about your decision, provide your username and password of twitter, and click the unfollow all button.

The tool will then start unfollowing everyone you follow. It may take a little bit long to affect the unfollow process in your timeline. Please be patient.

Before you do so, please make sure to be informed that the action can’t be undone and it will unfollow all, not only bots.

You, My Friends, What’s up on Mind?

Do you think you’re one of those who are constantly listening to bots? If yes, have you decided to unfollow everyone that you follow? Share with me and other readers on this blog.

Did you find this article useful? Did this help you anyway? Is it worth rewarding me for it? Please support me to keep this work up.

  • Go to Manage --> the list of people, groups & searches are displayed, there is a 'remove' option, can you see it? Just click on it.

When you block all users, no one can follow or comment on your media, and all comments on all your media are deleted.

set up a account and figured it out myself, referred to the help section too.
  • Thanks for your comment, but this is NOT a good solution, not at all.
Blocking everyone means they won't be able to follow you back. But
here i was talking about removing them from list of people YOU follow,
not those who follow you. You might want to start over by following
people again, but blocking them to follow you is like putting yourself
inside a room and lock it up, which is not a good idea.

Cool tool, thanks for sharing its very useful if you mass follow which isn't great though...
  • Mass follow makes me follow lots of bots which makes me feel robotic. :-/
  • i usually unfollow people when i need to, usually i check the back log and select one by one.
  • I agree with M. R. SOHEL. I usually don't unfollow people. If i want to clean unfollow people I do it at a six monthrs interval
  • Its a good tool to unfollow all , you are following. Before do it you should think again whether you want to start your twitter life again from the scratch. If you unfollow someone he will also unfollow you. Most of the twitter accounts are pre set like this.
  • That's all and well but of concern to me is why someone would utilize auto-follow scripts in the first place. Answer that question and this tool is moot.
  • Hi Ari,

if you could ask me that question several months ago, I could have answered you correctly, as I was among those 'loving' auto-follow scripts. If I've understood correctly, you're asking why would people use auto-follow feature. In fact, lately this has become a question of mine, too, although once I used auto-follow scripts.

A lot of people like to "acknowledge" their new followers by 1. Sending a 'welcome' direct message, and 2. Following them back. So, some people reduce the hassle by activating third-party auto-follow and auto-DM scripts.

I'm expecting your further reply below. Thanks for commenting.
