Bad deal for us, amazing opportunity for those who are passionate bloggers
and never thought of earning from their stupid blogs.

Anyway, you cannot compare WP.com with blogger. Both are free, but WP.com
doesn't support advertising. If you want a truly amazing blogging
experience, you must try WordPress in your own hosting. Believe me or not,
it's something worth trying and getting fixed at.

Bad deal, having a 25K pageviews and the 50/50 cut is just stupid !
I can setup my blog on blogger.com and start earning money with just 1K of visitors.

Agreed. Actually, WordPress.com is the only solution if one wants to blog
for fun; not with a serious motivation of making money online.

I don't know why the blogger will host his/her blog on wordpress.com if they get 50k page view per month? And why should they share their hard earn money? It's always better to go with self hosted, lot cheaper and much freedom.
