How do I submit my new blog’s address to Search Engines?
Creating a blog, posting something and placing adsense or other similar ad will not help you achieve your goal in blogging world. The most important thing you need to have in your blog is traffic. Unless you have a huge traffic and lots of loyal, regular and active readers in your blog, you shouldn’t expect success. Success needs efforts, hard-work and time. Once you do them without any laziness, you can expect success. Sometimes you’ll succeed before you begin to expect.
What is the best source of traffic?
Undoubtedly the best and the most effective source of getting high amount of traffic is Search Engines. Whenever people need information on any topic, they type the query into the search query box and then hit enter. The search engine then brings results. If your blog comes in the first page, you get the maximum chance of getting that visitor stepped into your blog. That’s why we always shout to do SEO of your blog. That’s the best way of making your blog a populous one.
So how do I let them know about me
Search Engines may find out your blog by crawling. If your blog has backlinks (active links to your blog from other web or blogs), Search bot may reach your blog and index. But this takes time. You can manually inform search engines about the newly created blog you own. This post is written to let you know how to do that.

Pay the most significant attention in making your blog [especially] Google-friendly. ‘Cause it is the most popular and most used search engine throughout the world. You can Submit your blog or website URL to Google manually at any time. Google will not immediately index your blog. It will send a bot to your blog/site shortly to crawl your blog and index pages/posts as directed in your blog’s source code.
Yahoo

Simply..after Google comes Yahoo. Yahoo requires registration/sign in to submit blog or website URL to its search engine. Click here to submit your URL to Yahoo for free inclusion to its search engine directory (not web directory, of course!).
Bing

Bing has recently become a little bit popular among a number of Internet surfers. So it’d be wise to include your site to Bing. Click here to submit your site to Bing which requires no registration/sign in but a captcha only.
Seems you’re done!
Right now Google, Yahoo and Bing are the most popular and major search engines on the web world. Usually you’re done by making your site Google-friendly. Other search engines will automatically find your site out. But when you manually submit your blog to these Search Engines, you need not to think of it anymore. The next job is to use the Google webmaster tools for taking advantage of indexing your blog and giving your blog a higher priority. Subscribe to RSS or for email updates so that you don’t miss it.
Please remember there are lots of third-party clients who offer you methods to add URL to all major search engines automatically. That’s not recommended. Please keep in mind that doing Search Engine Optimization, Link Building, Socializing, Directory Submission etc can be done in both automatic and manual way. But manual is always recommend — not only by me but also from all successful models of bloggers. No auto-works can bring real success. You need real success, recognition and money. So you ought to work hard for your blogging business. [Rule no. 1. Take blogging seriously.]
