Anyone Need a Google Wave Invitation?

Google's latest buzz is called "Buzz". I'm still wondering if there are people who still uses complex service Google Wave, after the launch of Google Buzz. I'm a big fan of Buzz and am pretty regular at it. Last time I logged in to my Wave account and noticed that I'm given the power of inviting others to Wave account. I don't know if there are people still interested in trying out Google Wave. However, if there are people out there who are still hunting for a Google Wave invitation, request one here.

Send extremely longer Direct messages to your twitter friend (exclusive)

2

In the title, I said this post is exclusive. I said so because I haven’t found any tips on the internet like what I’m going to share with you. We all know twitter is limited in 140 characters. Although it is too short yet twitter still rocks within the range of this one hundred and forty characters. Those who use twitter realize what the twitter is. We love this micro-blogging powerful community and we know it is a weapon. We can use it to make any success. But before using, we have to know how to utilize the weapon.

In twitter, we are enabled to send direct messages to any twitter user. The method of sending direct message is as follows: d <space> twitter id <space> message. But this all can’t exceed 140 characters, as usual. You may have a lot to say to your friend in a direct message but you can’t exceed the limit of the message. Well, do you know you can do anything you want if you’re wise enough? :D Let’s come to the point. You can definitely send extremely longer messages to any twitter friend. But to do so, you have to go through some works. If you don’t like to do so, you may ignore it and stay restricted from exceeding 140 characters. You may ask your friend or twitter follower for his/her email address but you are unsure that he/she will give the address to you. If you ask for suggestion, here goes what I do:

I login to http://docs.google.com [Google Documents] and create a new document. I write the entire message in the new document and then click “Publish” button from the upper right corner. Once published, I get a link which is accessible from anywhere. I copy the link and send it to my twitter friend. I include the message like: Hello, please read the message in Google docs by clicking here. If the link seems too long, I just shorten it using TinyURL and then send the message to my friend.

What do you think? Is it a worthless method of sending extremely longer direct message to your friend? Did you like this method of sending direct message? Please let me know your views. The comment form always requests you for a response. :)

Did you find this article useful? Did this help you anyway? Is it worth rewarding me for it? Please support me to keep this work up.

  • If for some reason you do not want to/can not do this then if you can remember your twitter username, you can type in www.twitter.com/[your username] and that will be your page. If not you may have to make another twitter account with a different email (which can be easily made on www.msn.com) and then search for your old account on there using the 'Find People' button.

    also possible:

    I. write your looong message up to something like 1200 characters
II. do a google search with it (with "")
III. convert google search link to tinyurl
    IV. post link to twitter!

    requires no document to save
